Nice image Ray - the background looks great. Is this little fellow (lady?) from the Muskoka Wildlife Center? (I've heard your name in conjuction with workshops there)

Simply marvelous.
Congrats ... Does Muskoka Wildlife Center mean it is a captive or a wild bird. Just out of curiosity ... it doesn't take away of the magic of the picture if it was a captive bird.

indeed, you are right, this is a captive shot, and that fact does take away from the story / image., when you see a (C) beside the title of a post, this means captive.
the attached is wild, and much more appealing, but yet, still a photograph with a couple cloning tweaks.
