I found this pretty little lady in Alberta during my drive across Canada this spring. She was having a field day feeding on all of the bugs on the surface of the pond. Great news for her...not so great for me as they were having a field day biting ME!!!

Wonderful shot of this beautiful bird, Glenn. Detail and exposure are spot on, and the open bill is a bonus. I love the rustic colors on this bird. I've only seen Wilson's Phalaropes once in the wild and they are quite lovely.

The reflection is the only (minor) negative in the image; the reflected head is broken up in a way that -- to my eye -- is not so appealing. Not sure of the solution, but I suppose some cloning around the edge of the reflected head might work

You may also consider a crop with a bit more room on the left.

Well captured Glenn. I don't mind the muted reflection but do agree about a bit more room to frame left.

Wow, this is a beauty, Glen. Love the calling pose and the beautiful lighting. You were a lucky guy!
