Another one of my PIF shot. Picture was taken in evening light at Pt Aransas, Texas. This guy had a very mean look.:)

I like the comp, angle of wings and esp the dangling foot. Nice even illumination on the entire subject.
The image quality seems a little soft. Not so much out of focus, more like a fairly large crop.
Sharpening on the far wing in particular, at the primaries, looks a bit overdone as they are looking a bit cut out form the background.

Randy, thanks for the comments and the advice. This picture was cropped I would guess I took off about 25-30% from the right and bottom. I did not selectively sharpen the bird but I will do that. I hope that will take the sharpness issue away.

Okay, this is the re-process. I selectively sharpened the bird. Let me know if this looks alright. I am not sure if I am loosing any sharpness in resizing as I try to keep it below 200Kb.

I don't see a huge change in the sharpness. One thing that will help your changes show better is to post the largest image size you can. The repost is only 124.6 kb. Try to post as close to 200kb as you can to help us see the image better.

Randy, I am not sure what is going on with the compression. But yeah I did not realize the earlier pic was compressed that much. I had saved it at quality-11 in PS to keep it below 200kb. Okay this one is closer to 200kb. I am learning PS on my own so I learn new thing everyday. I was going to use ' Save for the Web, option but was not sure what all the options in it meant so stuck to 'save as jpeg.'
