I just noticed that images longer than 800px are showing up smaller than they should be. Anyone else noticing this problem?

Haven't noticed that Christopher.....will get someone to look into it. Can you post a specific link.....may help us out. Thanks!

Roman, an example of what I'm talking about can be seen here (http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php?73758-The-Cavalry%21). In that thread, I posted an image that is 1024px on the longest side, which is the forum maximum; but the web page is scaling it down to only 800px on the longest side. I first noticed this yesterday morning, and it's true of any image posted that's longer than 800px.

Christopher and Roman: I noticed this problem with an image I posted in the Avian Critique Forum yesterday and just checked about a dozen other images in that forum from other posters. All images greater than about 600 pixels horizontal are being reduced in size and blurred. The problem is not caused by my browser or computer - I checked the images using two different computers (one a Mac and one a PC) and three different browsers (Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer). So, it looks like the forum hosting software is misbehaving.

I think it is a glitch in the new version of the forums......the higher ups have been notified and are working on it!

I noticed this problem recently, and I see I wasn't the only one after reading this post. Anyway, I just checked the image I had the problem with and it has indeed been fixed! Thanks James! regards~Bill

I just checked my recent image post, and it too is now displaying properly. Thanks to the forum moderators and administrator for fixing this so quickly (and on a weekend, no less!).
