I love attempting high key image creations and I'm not totally sold that this one works?
Late day very filtered light with ripples blurring the reflection coming from another birds movement). I didn't blur them in PS.
Your thoughts?

Jim, I'm not a big fan of high key images, but this is an exception. Has a lovely, pure feel to it. I do think it may need a slight boost in contrast, as it looks a little washed out to me. (Or clarity).

Image is very calming, what is a high key image?

Jim:
I agree with Grace. My first thought on viewing it was, a bit more contrast. I might also try a version with a little more space to the right, since the birds attention is focused that way.

I like the treatment and think it's a good artistic expression of what you saw. The lifted foot is good and the reflection provides a good base. As Randy suggested, a bit of space to the right might help but I'd also add a bit of space on top.

Jim, the high key here works for me, and the pose with the raised leg looks good. My vote for the comp would leave as is.

Lovely, and works for me. It has a serene feel to it. Just a bit more contrast on my end.
