Scissor-tailed Flycatcher

Upper Texas Coast

D3, 600, ISO 800, f7, 1/200.

There were many Scissor-tailed Flycatchers moving through on migration. Almost every fence line had birds on them. I managed to get this image right at last light. I will be sharing how I got this image in my next newsletter for those who have signed up.

Love the long tail and the soft colors in the background. Nice color as well.

Another winner. The three flowers in alternate stages of life are a nice touch.

Perfect perch and BKGR for a loverly bird. Perfect orientation to the imaging sensor and a perfect head angle to go with it.
