Gus, I like the little finchs pose and look, the framing and how the stick goes to the end of the print. I'd probably do only two things if it were mine, sharpen the eye a bit more and make the ends of the stick lighter to match the rest of it....:o.....TFS

Gus, I think that I'd tone down the entire perch a bit also. Maybe another round of sharpening on the head and beak. I love the black BG and your stroke border is sweet!:)

Gus, nice pose and I like the placement of the finch and perch. Seems a bit contrasty to my eye, I might suggest a levels or curves adjustment. Looks like focus was in the plane of the perch and beyond so you have a bit of softness in the bill and head. Cute!

Gus, I do like this better! For the tiny area around the eye I would recommend using the blur tool. Make a very small brush and just go over those slightly "over-cooked" lines and you may be surprised at the result. Well done!
