Another one from last weekend. Was fortunate to have a clean patch of water.

I love the head position, exposure, and the waters transition to Bg. I like the water drops. Might suggest removing bright pixels on top of the head.

I am thinking that I would like this cropped from the bottom and the back moving her to the rear third of the frame. That's because I like the water in front best :)

Thanks Artie:

I had considered both of those crops, but liked the colors in her feathers and decided not to crop from right. I will give it a try though.

Layton: The hot spots on top of her head are water drops.

Randy, good overall detail, and the light has brought out the colours on the wing feathers nicely. Droplets always adds interest to these type of images, and I like the texture of the water.

Ditto Alan's comments and I agree with Artie on composition (though I can understand not wanting to lose that beautiful reddish feather detail on body) The blue water spot makes this image for me. Cheers.

Yes that water certainly is something to behold here. I like the water drops strewn about, and both this comp and the suggested alternative would work well.
