I downloaded and installed yesterday. worked very well. My main interest was USM feature they have added in adition to regular sharpness slider. I found that the defaults are set very aggressively, but after playing around with the sliders, it seems like a nice feature. I usually apply USM after resizing to output size...that too selectively on birds. None of which can be done in DPP..but with more options, it might give a better starting point.
I still haven't got the chance to play around a lot...but from whatever little time I spent, looks like some nice details can be brought out at the expense of noise....but that can be cleared selectively from the BG in PP.
