This is another image from Barnegat Light NJ. This is a great spot for Harlequin Ducks as well as Purple Sandpipers.

I really like the composition of this image, I'd just like to see a little more room to the left (feels tight on the tail feathers)... Nice head angle and catch light. The image looks like it could use a good amount of noise reduction. Keep up the good work!

Very nice angled image here David. I agree with Blake's assessment.

I really like the setting and comp. Somehow the processing looks a bit off. Did you do a lot of Shadow-highlight adjustment? Darkening the midtones might work for this one?

Re-edit cropped away about 10% off the left side. There is no shadow and highlight adjustment just Hue and Saturation - and a Selective color layer.

Good luck at Barnegat Light Grady it is a great place.

Lovely pose and light, David. I prefer the repost but would probably back off the saturation a bit

Repost better, but definitely over-saturated... Esp. the yellows. You did well with an awkward pose.

later and love, artie

Nice portrait and pose. I agree the post production seems a little off for me. The repost is much better but looks over saturated on my screen also. Is this a big crop?
