I took some bird photos in the crepe myrtle behind the feeders today as it was overcast for the first time in over a month, and the leaves on the tree were turning. I used Topaz Clean and Adjust on this one. I'd say it's breaking the rules because he has so many leaves in front of him.

Good example Judy and a lovely image too! Love the clean adjusted look and the bold colors. I really miss these birds since I left Indiana 35 years ago... I think the leaves add interest, but consider the rule broken!

That's a beautiful composition, Judy. I love the colors here including that of the leaves and branch - very natural in its setting. Compositionally it is pleasing with the bg bokeh, IMHO. Very nicely done.

Judy, I like the subtle effect of the TC and the way the perch is on a diagonal. The leaves really do stand out as lovely. I would evict the bottom stem w/ the cut off leaves if it were mine. Very nice pose and clear eye!

Judy; very nice base image, and excellent DOF control, HA, position, etc. I may be the only one includes camera techs here at OOTB, but I am curious on this one. Must have Clean 3, since you have avoided the faint lines that surrounded subjects that couldnt be adjusted in earlier versions. GOOD WORK! regards~Bill

Thanks everyone! This was my favorite photo of the lot but you might see more of them. :) I'll see if I can evict the leaves.

Leaves or no...very strong image...I think some of the leaves compliment the Cardinal, only leaves I'd get rid of are the ones covering the tail...TFS

I like the softness of the colors. Beautiful bird. the leaves do not bother me.

Judy, it's a beautiful image and cardinals are one of my favorite birds. I agree with Paul - the upper leaves don't bother me but would like to see the tail feathers.:)

Very beautiful image, Judy, in spite of the leaves. I love the bright colors and nice composition.

Thanks everyone! I have evicted the small leaves and stem in LL but I don't think I can reconstruct the tail .
