Two years ago I went to Tanzania for a photo safari to the Serengeti. I had a blast. I felt that this was my best shot of the trip.

Taken with a Canon Digital Rebel 75-300 mm IS canon lens. ISO was 100 zoom at 300
shutter at 1/80 and f 5.6.

Impressive beast indeed. Comp is pretty good, I may have cropped about 15% off the right side of the fram ahead of the rear leg. You handled the exposure well for your lighting situation. The one FG weed is a bit distracting you could do a little cloning to help that out. Good effort Harold.

Lions tend to be the attraction and you got a good one !!!! With the given light you did as well as possible I know you are limited in movement for a better light angle

Cropping wise I agree on going tighter or the other extreme which is the larger view In this case and with the given light tighter would have been my choice !!!
