Gerrie:

Well exposed, sharp, dragonfly is great, nice background.
For most birds, the flat across wing pose doesn't show off their details and colors as well as full up or down. The fact that the bird is angled down slightly does help somewhat here.
If you have a little more clean canvas above, I might consider adding that back in.

Cheers

I find it an unusual and interesting image. Sharp and nice eye contact and the dragonfly is a great bonus. Nice work.

This is a fairly amazing capture. It was somewhat bad luck that the dragonfly is blocking the other eye so badly. I can't even imagine getting something like this in sharp focus.

Dragonfly takes this one several notches up. Very good execution too...small birds in flight are quite hard.

Love the action... a great catch. How many did you take?

Very unusual, the position of the dragonfly could have been better, but everything else is spot on.

The nesting sites are usually total mayhem so managing to pick this shot out is remarkable.

You nailed this one Gerrie. Great head on capture, with good sharpness on the head. Of course, his catch is a huge bonus. Killer BG too. I didnt get a single afternoon shot.:o
