Don't believe I've posted this one yet, from about a month ago at Pine Point, ME; low tide and an hour or so after sunrise.

Bill:

Lovely lighting here, with nice exposure, perfectly placed drop, foot up pose, nice water color.
I might consider toning down the specular reflections on the mode ridge under the water drop, to try and downplay it a bit.
Shooting angle worked well.

cheers

Bill, the background in this one works very well. I like the drop of water and the raised feet.

Fantastic image Bill. Great low angle and exposure.

very nice! I would have liked a tad less space on top and a sliver more at the bottom...:)

Great frontal light, pose and eater texture, Bill. I can see this a little tighter with a bit off the top and left. The little sphere of water is a real bonus.

Water drop (which I would consider selectively sharpening), raised foot, and ruffled primaries all worked to your advantage. I agree with Tony's crop suggestion. Very effective image, I like it alot!

Love the raised foot and the water drop but not the dark band cutting through the birdie which, BTW, is a molting juvenile. Low angle a pleasure but even lower would have been much better (as the dark band would have been moved lower in the frame).

I agree with above. The water droplet is a nice touch.
