Kerry just won two first place ribbons in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area contest called "Spirit of the Mountains". He won in the animals category for a cooper's hawk and in "a moment in time" for a red-tailed hawk bringing a snake to the nest.:)

Thanks everyone! I really could not have done this without the wonderful people at BPN. Two years ago I was just beginning to think that I could take pictures of birds and other wildlife and my images were nothing to write home about (yes, there's bird in there - can't you see it?). :cool: I literally searched the entire Internet looking for a place of learning and encouragement by people with some real credentials and I found you all here.
