I love this image Troy. The pose, the expression, the perch and the background all combine perfectly. Great work.

Troy i would sure think of vertical composition with this frame showing bit of more at bottom as the position of owl force us to find the tail behind the trunk..

I have a vertical shot Mital...felt it is too tight..I will edit pick one and compare. Thanks.
Thanks Bob.

Nice shot Troy. I like the sharpness and perch. I would like to see a vertical as well.

I really like the perch and the soft lighting. I like the horizontal shot, as it gives the owl space to look into. However, I would like a little more space below would be good.

I envy that you have the chance to get owls in such habitat.

Nice background and I Like the epiphytes and soft light. Feels a tad tight and I wish he was glancing your way. Carry a dog squeakee in your pocket next time. <style type="text/css"></style>

Great capture, Troy. I really like the pose and the environment in this one. I would add a bit more space, esp on the bottom.

Thank you guys.

Marina, no more room on the bottom...this is almost full frame. I cropped into 16x20 and taken top and right off......
I will post a vertical shot tonight.
