Nice closeup Jim....I love doing/viewing closeups.
This has nice light and detail, but as I back away from the monitor a bit, that "dead center" eye just won''t let go.

Excellent and dramatic closeup. Looks like the scan may have darkened the shadows a bit, it really works.

Interesting composition. It could go a tad brighter for better subject/BG separation. The catchlight is a bit distracting and the BG is quite noisy.
