wow!! I love everything about this image. the eyes are fantastic! I might crop a bit off the top. But I find this a great image of an otherwise "drab" insect. well done!

I like the comp as is. Nice simple image. Perfect exposure, sharpness, and DOF. Well done!!

Look at that eye and probosis!!! Holy cow, Batman...that's amazing!

Since the twig/perch gets more OOF towards the top, I'd trim a little off that end of the frame. Everything else is exquisite!

Hey Ovidiu, this looks great! Other than what's already been said, I might suggest adding a slight crop from the left to add to Jules' suggestion of a crop from the top.

This looks a lot like our Pyrgus spp, AKA Checkered-Skippers. Is that what it is?

Hi Ovidiu. You've got it all going for you with this one! - Pose, sharpness, background, light, water drops, diagonal comp, and the curled proboscis. The suggestions above are tweaks to an already fine image. The only minor thing that catches my eye (and draws it away from your skipper) is the tiny caterpillar (or something) near the bottom of the perch. If this was mine, I'd be tempted to remove that. :)

Thanks for comments and critique.
Ken, I'm not a bug specialist, I try to ID and learn about insects as I shoot them, so I'm not sure about the ID of this one, could be grizzeled or chequered skipper...
