I appreciate members here that made me aware of pixel blender. Thank you!!
This very small grasshopper, with a body less than 1 inch long, seemed particularly well suited for this weeks theme.
Comments and critique welcomed. regards~Bill

Bill, this is definitely a good one for the theme. I like the colors and the effect. Love your placement of the grasshopper! I think Pixel Bender is a winner...

Bill, This one works great for the theme. I like your placement of the GH. I might evict the little piece of leaf on the right edge and the white in the opposite corner catches your eye, maybe eliminate the part of it that is on the edge. Nice job w/ the PB. Background is fantastic.:)

Thanks Kerry and Denise. I was wondering if you noticed the crop tool in CS5 has a grid perfect for use in composition when using the rule of thirds! It wasn't t in CS4. I used it in this image by placing the grasshopper eye at the right lower hot spot (2/3 from top, 1/3 from right). regards~Bill

I am going to go out there...checked crytic online couldn't find a definition. Is it a typo for "cryptic"
