Sticks in the water reminded me of a horse. I toned the water more blue with a texture for the theme. Pixel Bender filters used. Painted in an eye!

Thanks Denise! I shot that a good ways out in the lake with the 24 - 105 at sunset and it's a 100% crop. I keep intending to go back with the 100 - 400 and get a much better image but haven't made it yet.

Horse, ship, or how about Nessie? Neat radiation from center in water. Cool eye.

Judy, good abstract to get these different impressions! What I really like is the reflection right in the center of the image. To me the shadow/reflection doesn't look as I would expect it and I find this interesting. Technically, I would suggest boosting the mids with a levels adjustment to give a bit more light. Cool!

Thanks Steve. I created the background texture radiation by using PB Circle Splash on the background layer and then PB Twirl. I did it a month or so ago and I think I used the background as a texture over the image and masked the subject back in. Then for this theme I added a blue texture over that.

Hi Judy,

Very nicely done. I'm with some of the others on it looking like the Loch Ness Monster. I am wondering if you should paint an eye on the reflection as well.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions Kerry, Mark and Andrew. I am reposting the image and lightened the mids on the "horse" and in turn had to deepen the blues a bit. I think I'll skip painting an eye on the reflection
