Lucifer Hummingbird Female

A partial cloudy day give me difuse ligth (not hard shadows) and some iridicence of the body, the hummingbird like use the same perch again and again near to flowers, i need only patience.

Me pregunto porqué le llamaran así a ésta especie? ja ja ja muy bonito colibrí y la iridicencia también, el fondo no me convence mucho, en especial por tener esa parte negra que hace que la vista se vaya ahí de primero. Suerte y espero ver más de tus fotos.

I love how this little guy is gripping the perch! Good details, and the iridescence is nicely showing. Yes, that BG thing is distracting...would you have been able to move right a bit more to give your subject more separation form that?
