taken at butterfly world yesterday. that place is great and you can get tons of different stuff there, not just butterflies.
D300, Sigma 50-500 at 135mm, f/5.6, 1/200s, 0EV, ISO 400, no flash, handheld. they dont allow any tripods or monopods and my flash was outta service.
thanks for looking and i appreciate you comments.

You did a great job considering you didnt use flash and were able to make a sharp image at only 1/200 of a sec.
The comp is good and the colors and soft light are super.
I see a some sharpening artifacts around the legs and head but that can prob be avoided with less agressive USM.
Thanks for posting.

I love visiting Butterfly World but hate photographing in it you have to work hard to get images with clean BG, very nice comp and colors.

Nice composed and a difficult place for clean backgrounds, as mentioned. I would go back on the red saturation a little bit, Harold, for more detail on the flower.
I cant believe you are missing the GBHs action at Wako!!!!

Very nicely done Mr. Harold. Love the composition, and the colors, placement of subject is dead on. Did you use a tripod?
