Used the bicolor filter in Efex to transform a photo that i was about to delete
Nikon D-300
1/640 sec at f4
ISO1250
500 mm
very dull .....dim...day!

Not sure what you did but I like the look. Can we see the original? I esp. like the reeds. The shadows could be lightened a bit.

Very cool looking, lots of depth! The filter produced selective focus on the bird?

Bob, You created a very pleasing look here. I like the filter you applied and Nik has some really good ones. Just a tiny halo around parts of the bird. Lovely image and nice work!:)

Nice work Bob, I'm glad you didn't send it to the bit bucket. I like the gradient color look and your nice open composition. Nice color too!

I was going to delete it but decided to try Nik's Color efex bicolor filter.
I agree i need to lighten up the shadows ...Thanks!

Hi Bob. Nice save. I like what you did here. I also have NIK ColorEfex Pro, but have done something similar to this with dull gray skies and water, in Lightroom, by changing hue/saturation for the highlights.
