Hey Bob,
Contrasting colors are fantastic!.....although maybe a touch too strong? Biggest issue for me is the static pose and the BG dark area......eliminating the black areas of the BG would help but trying to get a better slightly angled flow to the bloom would help this one compositionally. I hope you get another attempt at this one as the colors just explode off the screen!

Nice image from one who is almost a neighbor of mine!:) My only further comment is that the image seems somewhat soft. Stopping down the lens a bit more would have helped. But TFS. The colors are luscious!

Agree on the colors. Love both the blue and the red ! It does look soft on my monitor, too. May have to do with the large aperture.
