From Viera Wetlands this past December in Florida. The branch coming off the right intersected with the Osprey's right wing and was removed in post-processing. This crop was done to match a 22x17 print. My original has more room and can be cropped accordingly. Interested in all comments but especially about the crop. Thanks.

Robert, the crop is perfect for composition IMO. Overall I like it, but its OOF left wing is a bit too prominent and distracting. Still a cool image!

I think the crop works well. I feel the left wing shows movement, so well done on that. This is nice and sharp too. Well captured Robert.

Crop works for me, Robert. I wish there were more topside showing....

I have the image right after this one with full up wing position. I will post that one next.

Sharp and very cool pose. I might try more of a pano crop (from the bottom). The blacks look a bit red and muddy...

later and love, artie, still in PHX and still with the flu...

Thanks Artie.

Pano crop done. I removed magenta from the reds and magenta using Selective color Adjustment. This was early morning sun so red channel color was a bit high - using my uncalibrated monitor at work bite me again. Used local contrast enhancement on the bird to increase mid-tone contrast.

Much more powerful and the colors much more natural.

The repost looks great aside from a S/H halo.

Good catch Axel. I am definitely in need of glasses to work at the computer. As soon as I put a pair on. I repost a correct version above in my original repost. Thanks.

Hey Robert,
The removal of branch and pano really works well,
