Golden Buffalo

Taken from an underground hide in the Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa. The sun was just setting hence the lovely golden colour on the buff.

Wow, an underground hide, I'd like to experience that for myself. The angle and the intense sunset light really make for a different look...on my monitor it looks more orange than golden and I'm trying to decide if it works for me.

He certainly is an impressive looking specimen. I agree with Katie that I am seeing more orange then gold Morkel. ;)

The hide has given you image a nice pov, the light certainly is intense. The buffalo looks like he has had a nice mud wallow.

thanks for the comments everyone...I'm gonna stick with the colour here as it's very close to how I remember it - was an intense sunset.
