I visited Ken's farm again yesterday...a pair of Tiger Swallowtails was the main attraction for me. Thanks for having me up again Ken!

Allen:

Subtle flash work, which from me is always a compliment! Your focus plane was just right, sharp from tip to tip of wing. Sharp, well exposed. Nice angle in frame.

I might try a version with the lower right corner vignetted just a bit to aid in separating the butterfly from that area.

Thanks for sharing

Randy

Allen, this is a beautiful specimen with very nicely saturated color. I would not have known that you used flash, the exposure is so well executed!

Allen, she's lookin' good! This look just a little dark to me but other than that, you couldn't ask for much more.

Save for the right wing's tail this specimen is in perfect condition! Some areas of the BG could be smoothed out a bit (e.g. close to right wing tip)...was there some work done there? Good stuff overall!!

Nice specimen, was any flash setting reduced?

HI Allen....very nice work getting such nice focus throughout. I would brighten the yellows in the wings just a bit and take down the saturation and brightness of the flowers. I also agree with darkening the leaf in the right corner
