Please correct my ID if need be - my shorebird skills are poor. This was taken at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. I used an Orton effect, then an Old paper layer effect, and Topaz Adjust Medium Sketch blended with soft light to bring some more detail back in.

Thanks for looking. C&C appreciated:)

Cheryl, I like the old world look to this. I love the thin layer of water over the sand in the LLC. I't a unique look and I like ti.:)

Cheryl, I love the softness of the Orton with the detail recovered on the feathers. I also noticed and liked the water over the sand - as if a receding wave caught before it had carried all the goodies back into the sea.

I can't comment on the techs, only to say that the result is very pleasing. The effects have given the image a really nice texture and tone.

Cheryl, this is very nice. I like the high key look and the toning. The Orton effect works really well for this one. Well done!

I love it! The sketch effect, toning, Orton are perfectly done to my eye. And the composition too!

Excellent image, Cheryl! It has a very calm, peaceful feel to it. The Orton effect and slight color toning are just perfect. Well done! :)
