Good low angle, walking pose is nice, and I like the rocky habitat. Too bad it hadn't yet passed the black blotch below the chin. Details and noise look a bit suspect for ISO 200...is this a large crop?

Daniel, thx for the critic, the low detail is for the low velocity in a fast moving bird, the day was cloudy, low light, low velocity. The noise,i think, is for oversharping.

have a good day

Paul, thanks for the reply. The cloudy conditions are always good for exposing birds with lots of white on them - it helped you here too. When conditions are darker don't be afraid to push your ISO higher. In this case ISO 400 = 1/250s., and ISO 800 = 1/500s. If this is the 500f/4 then opening up to f/4 at ISO 800 raises the SS to 1/1000s. It sure would help with this sandpiper's quick movements:).

Thx Daniel, in Mexico, the cloudy days are very usefull, in hot places (evergreen forest, desert, etc) during cloudy days more birds are in activity: a cloudy day is all morning day!
