Captured at Brigantine last Friday morning. I believe the cinnamon coloration makes this fellow a fresh juvenile. C&C appreciated.

Bill, Very nice flight pose and the composition suits this pose well in my opinion. Nice feather details on the wings and the fanned tail that is curled up is a nice touch.:)

Fantastic Bill, Is this a large crop. I like the framing and the pose. Nice job w/ the juvi. esp at Brig.

Kaustubh, Denise, Joe and Michael: Thank you for the kind words. Michael, this is not what I would consider a really large crop; it is about 70% of full-frame. I took some off the top and left to move the bird into the corner, and a tad off the other sides to tighten it up a bit.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I think gulls and terns are about the only birds you can get close to there.
