I made this image in YNP in May. I focused on the eye of the near ram. In November they will begin the rut.

The weather really stunk there in May and June, so I can sympathize with the exposure compromises. I was shooting at ISO 1600 much of the time and saw the sun for less than 1 hour in 10 days. Nice image. I would add a little contrast and saturation to compensate for the gray light. I think the LLH corner is too tight, unless that is the edge of the frame.

Hal, there is room on the LHS but there is a ram's butt there. I already cloned out his RR leg. This crop seemed better than cropping for just the ram on the right. I will try adding saturation & contrast. Thanks

Andrew,

Compositionally, the tightness on the left side hurts the image. In instances like this I either go tight (think portrait if possible), move for better angle, or plan on cloning out the distractions later.
