This one appears to be hanging off what I call a Horsetail Plant.

Hey Dave,
Because the web is not visible.....does look like he is hanging on the plant....doing a weird balancing act! Been debating the BG for a while.....and while part of me feels the brightest area is a bit distracting....it also sets the spider off nicely from the BG. Given the settings....I do wish you had opted for a touch more DOF....to get the top of the bloom and more of the spider sharp.....so just keep that in mind for next time out in the field.

Hey Dave, cool comp, it has a nice overall pastel feel with the colors, and like the unusal position of the spider.

Thanks Roman and Mike.
The spider is sort of like a ballerina.

Hi Dave. I like the pose of your little "ballerina." Nice comp and good sharpness on the stem of your horsetail. Because the fruiting head of the horsetail is so prominent, I too, think the image would be even stronger if you had more DOF in that area. :)
