I had taken this last year with my Canon 300D. Here are the settings -

Canon 300D + Canon EF 75-300 f/4-5.6 IS
ISO 200, 1/650 sec, 300mm at f5.6

I cropped the original and also cloned away a bit of distracting branch. Your comments and feedback would be appreciated.

Nice find, the bird seems quite relaxed. For my taste it is too big in the frame and I wish for better eye contact and maybe some more sharpening. Keep them coming!

Excellent Indranil My main concern is the point of focus? Not sure where Would select the eye area and give another pass of usm !!!! I like the pose and love the bg !!!!
