Hi Everyone,

Thought I would share this image from a few years ago. I was watering my plants early one morning and heard this Wood Thrush singing down in the woods. I followed the song and found him on a wild grape vine singing away. Canon 10D 100-400 IS Lens. At 1/250, 5.6. Image from Western Pennsylvania.

This is a very beautiful woodland species (as are all thrushes!) and you got it in a great singing pose Janet. A better head turned would have been great, and the bright streaks and blotches in the BG are somewhat distracting. Keep them coming :-)

pleasing image as if singing, "It's a big world out there"
May be a wee bit smooth

especially like the peeling perch

I like the singing pose and agree regarding more head turn toward you. The BG is a bit distracting.

Always a treat to see this species singing away. Agree that a head turn and a smoother Bg would take this to the next level.

PS, Daniel I checked out your web site, beautiful images. Love the warblers.
Thanks Janet
