It's been a long, hot summer. Today, the heat finally broke and I came home from work, opened the windows :D and grabbed the camera! I walked around one of my favorite lakes, barely breaking a sweat - it was GLORIOUS! The first signs of autumn are just starting to creep into the landscape but there is still plenty of summer left to see. Here's one of tonight's images, calling me to come out again and see what lies around the next corner. I sure hope it's fall...

Trail is beautiful and you and I are soon going to be happy campers! I just got back from southeast Missouri on a two-day trip to photograph cottonmouth snakes in the Mingo Wilderness......got some nice shots.
