I could have sworn that I posted an intro previously, but looks like it is in computing never-never land.......

Anyway, My name is Alan Paine from Madison,WI. I have lurked for quite a while, learning a lot. I am a Diehard Canonite and Sigma supplicant, having met with great luck with both brands. Have a Variety of interests...Some birds,some Macro, animals, rock formations, light houses (Defined as generalist :) ). Hoping to continue to learn, growm and put up a site when budget permits, and LightRoom knowledge increases.

You've got a nice range of lenses there, Alan! Welcome (officially) to BPN and let us know if you need help with anything. I'm also waiting for my 40D to turn into a 7D so let me know if you figure out how to make that happen before I do. :D

Welcome, Alan! My 30D turned into a 7D last fall and I haven't regretted it for a moment (actually, I think it budded-off, as I still own and love my 30D).
