Ian,

Good clarity for an image from a plane. Composition works out well. I like the many vertical lines in the range especially the one that works from the lower left to upper right.

There seems to be a yellow/green color cast. I set a white point using Levels in PSCS5 on the brightest white and the gave me a nice white along with blue in the shade colored snow. Something to try.

Hey Ian,
Pretty impressive through a plane window! I do think Robert is correct on the color cast and you may want to explore a crop off the bottom.....to more of a pano.......just above the D blue in the LRC......that eliminates most of the soft area......but in this case it is a personal call. Overall, I think you composed this nicely and exposed it well.......throw in through a plane window....even better! Nicely done.

I like the comp a lot Ian. For my tastes I find the remaining noise artifacts a bit distracting. I might try a B&W conversion, or possibly even add noise to enhance the mood.

Thanks Robert, Roman, Nick & Dave
At this stage have added white point and Noiseware @ the default setting.

Hey Ian,
Whites look better.....although hot in a few places. Try in PS....selective color>whites>down on the black.....should whiten things up. As for the noise.....you may have to go less than the default setting.....it smmothed things up a bit too much. Hope this helps.

Thanks again Roman.
It doesn't look like the selective color menu is in Photoshop Elements.
Have redone edit with white point, auto contrast and less NR with Noise Ninja.

Hi Ian, Good job with the final repost doing it for me. Good clarity out of a plane with the diagonal lines leading the eye up the image. The clouds work well at the peaks...
