Ben:
Clean background with complimentary color, bird is sharp, with striking eye.
Looks like a little loss of detail in some areas of yellow, possibly hot red channel.
There is a nice tutorial on handling yellows in the resource section. http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php?35243-Yellows-to-Hot
I like the scale of the perch, wish he was a bit higher up so the point wasn't so close to his face.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Ben,
Great looking sp. and looks sharp and clean. Details look good, I dont see much a problem with the yellows, the areas are pretty small.
Wish the bird was looking more up towards the camera and not towards the ground though.
Agree with Randy on the perch separation, it would have been helpful to step to the right.

This pops so nicely from the smooth BG and the exposure looks good all over.

A very stunning bird. You did a nice job showing his off.
