Bison Calf

This calf just swam the Yellowstone River trying to keep up with mom as she was pursued by a huge bull. The calves are really confused by the rut and are also in real danger of being injured by the aggressive bulls.

Having dealt with the same problems with grass interesting the face with bears and bison, when I say I would have preferred it not to happen, I understand how our quest for perfection is truly difficult, just keep trying. Other then that, this image is composed and exposed well. Very pleasing look at the young calf. Well done.

I like the composition and I think you captured the innocence of the calf very well. It might be a tiny bit over saturated.
