Delightful shot, well focussed and composed, it is really rewarding to get these little butterflies while they are asleep or very at least half asleep, they take some finding but then you are rewarded.

Nice find, Ovidiu! I rarely find butterflies covered in dew. Most around here spend the night deep in bushes or grass.

The bfly and the perch look great but the dew drops really make this image. :)

Hey Ken, this is first time I find dew covered BF, have seen 4 of them but as you mentioned they were hidden in grass. this one was a bit more in the open, and carefully removed two grass stems one in front and one behind the bf (should have mentioned this).

Hi Ovidiu,
Excellent all around! Great light, perch , BG.....dew takes it up to another level! I viewed this flipped 90 degrees CW.....liked that too.......so an outstanding image in my book!:cheers::cheers:

You've got all the elements working for you here, Ovidiu, and the dew drops really take this to another level. Very nicely done.

Great shot. The dewdrops make this image special.

I love it upside down or rightside up. I think you might look into cloning out the OOF end of the back antenna as it doesn't really add anything and I don't think anyone would notice if it were missing. Lovely colors and the dew drops are beautiful! Great sharpness without overdoing it.
