Great shot of a great flower. Love the colors, composition, light. I wonder if you might lighten the center just a bit using curves, or somesuch. Really beautiful.

Very nice shot, I wonder about a little general increase in exposure - not much.

Hi Dave, wonderful play of colors! I'm with Jonathan about brightening up the image a little. I would also consider making the BG an even black. Nice!

Hey Dave, this is a beauty! Is does look like it could use a little extra pop so maybe a curves adjustment or a slight contrast boost would fix that.

Just curious, is this how it looked on your PC or did it lose something during the upload again?

Hi Ken, It looks almost true to form. There are times I lose a bit of contrast or brightness. Sometimes after I post an image I feel it could stand a boost....
I will admit that there are times I overlook it in the original since I was caught up in working it. I have a calibrated monitor which is pretty accurate....
Anita,I'll see what I can do about bringing a bit more out in the center..

Even with the comments on increase and lightness this is still top notch, Dave. The colors have a depth to them without being oversaturated and the center is placed so nicely within the frame.

I like it as presented. May darken the BG a bit, on my monitor I see some green shades in the LLC. Very nice job Dave!

I also like the composition on this. Love the flower itself as is but might like to see the backgrund a touch more black as suggested above. i would be very happy with this as is if it were mine.:)

Hi, Unless I put a black backround against the image and I couldn't see the the green. Without doing that I missed it. Easy fix and thanks for the comments...

I hang out with some very picky photographers so I must scrutinize each image closely...

Hey Dave,
Agree with above comments on lightening a few points and especially with Anita regarding the center......I'm OK with the d green bg.....but you know I am fine with black also. Just tweaks to a spectacular flower!
