Great angle, making the bird pop well, nice expo and pose too, is the CL natural??

The catch light is from the fill flash.

Great low angle, and I like the soft colours throughout. I also like that you left some of the dark debris on the sand.

Beautiful Michael. Amazing transition in the BG. Great detail on the bird, good angle and nice soft exposure.

Sweet bird (I'm partial to plovers). Beautiful gradation of the bg, and great low-angle capture.

Mike, this is just how it should be done IMO. So neat. Perfect shooting angle, bird angle, pose, exposure, BG.....hats off. Wonderful capture.

Mike, I can only echo the other comments - very lovely for all the above reasons :)

I love the low angle, distant BG, diffused light, and fill flash. I agree 100% with Kaustubh. I might consider lowering the midtones slightly. Just a personal preference.

Well Done!

Very lovely for all the reasons mentioned above. If my eye isn't confused and following the sharp line in the sand, it needs some CW rotation.

Fab, why use the line in the sand as a reference ?
