Captured this lovely solitary steenbok in overcast weather in the Kruger Park over December 2009.
Techs:
Nikon D300s with 200-400mm VR @ 400mm
f4.0 @ 1/1250 SS @ ISO-400
Exp +0.3

Morkel - beautiful image with great detail. And a subject that is shy and usually takes off as soon as the vehicle slows.

It has been a long time since we had a Steenbok on here, which is a great shame. There are two types of Steenbok one that runs way at great speed and one that stands still looking curiously, you clearly got one of the later.:)
