You have to feel sorry for this Magnificent Frigate bird chick, just sitting and waiting in the baking heat. Taken on one of the Galápagos islands during the breeding season.

This one is all about texture for me Steve. Nice sharp detail where it needs to be sharp and nice soft textures to set it off. Beautiful portrait of this chick who seems resigned to the fact that it may be hours before food arrives!
