Cool angle and eye contact and I like the inclusion of the trees in the BG. I might sharpen the bird a tad more, add a little canvas at the top and tone down the highlights on the head. Thanks for sharing!

The repost looks really good! I would only put the bird a bit further to the right in the frame.

The sharpness on the repost looks better, I prefer the Comp on the OP.
BG and light are wonderful.

Beautiful capture and the repost is great , Agree with Axel that a bit more canvas on the left would strengthen this lovely image. TFS:)

Good catch, shame about the light, IF you check my Blog, I have a few tricks to help soften the impact. Thanks for sharing.

PG, The repost looks good. Yes to a crop from the bottom. Was this in Wales?

Yep, this was in central Wales - near a place called Rhayader.

Been there a couple of times already and always great fun

Was it at the farm where they feed them and you work from blinds?

It is exactly that one.

Great light and posture, the sharpness on the re-post is spot-on. I would tone down the exposure a tad?

It is exactly that one.

The day I was there it was so foggy that you could not see your hand at arm's length. Just for the record books we ask that you indicate "baited" in situations like this.

Sorry that I missed this in Pane 1: Gigrin Farm.
