Hi

A lovely butterfly and a fine shot of him – the details and colours of the subject are looking grand!!!

I’d suspect you could have open the aperture just slightly to say F8, for a slightly more blurred smooth backdrop look without losing any real subject detail – since you appear to have so nicely paralleled this lovely wee chap

Nice call by Matthew but I have no objections to the aperture used as it's a lovely portrait Ovidiu! The back wing feels a little less sharp than the front wing so you might play with a tiny bit more selective sharpening there. This is perhaps one of the best perches possible - it gives the butterfly a wonderful structure to sit on but doesn't overpower it in any way. Lovely!

Hey Ovidiu,
Another fine one!!! I'm fine with the BG.....and you could go many directions there in PP'ing....but besides Ken's trick on sharpening the back antenna.......this one is another winner!

Most lovely image here. Very nice color. Agree with Matthew about how well you paralleled the subject with your lens. I have to force myself to always do it.

Thanks for sharing...

Roman already hit on the antenna. I think some minor tweaks to the eye could improve this already fantastic shot. Increasing the contrast and sharpening it should take this image way over the top. :)
