Canon 7D, 400mm F4 DO, TC II 1.4x, handheld, ISO 800, 1/1000s, f11, EC +1.
Slight crop, sharpening, Noise reduction with Noiseware Pro
Reluctant to give up the perch in spite of close approach by moving boat (never left the log)

nice low angle and pose, would brighten the eye a tad. not sure about f/11 here would open the aperture for more SS, image is pretty soft.

Good-looking youngster, soft light and angle look good. I agree with Arash about lightening the eye and would sharpen the bird more.

Don, a little shadow/highlight, lightening the tee and sharpening, improve the image, what do you think?
