Awesome! I really like your composition Nicki the little amount of land to anchor the landing works great. Well Done!

Nice action captures, with your usual light palette. I may take some off the top, I feel too much negative space ether. Thanks for sharing, girl :)

Excellent pose, Nicki. The habitat and the sitting bird are a great inclusion. I could see this without as much space on the top, not sure what it adds to the image.

James, Fabs and Grace thanks so much for your very kind comments. I do think that the image would work well with a slice off the top, but somehow I felt that it needed a little room to breathe ;)

I love loose compositions but I think I agree with Fabs on the space at the top of the frame. Great pose from the landing bird.

I like the landing pose, if it were mine I would crop some off the top and add some canvas on the left and bottom.

Matthew and Axel, thanks so much for your very kind comments and suggestions. Axel, I would not add any canvas as per your suggestion as I feel that the humour would be lost. Perhaps this humour is a little English - understated and a little ironic...or perhaps not...;)

Love the bit of habitat and puffin in the corner. Maybe a bit off the top, but don't touch the other sides. Great pose and high-key look, well exposed under harsh light.

The harsh light give a unique feel to it,
Landing pose and the other puffin make this one for me.
I would take some off the top.
