Hey Karl,
The soft light really helped with the whites here and the sharpness is where it needs to be. The is perhaps a hot spot in the flower under the eyes.....but that could have been introduced in PP'ing. In this case too....I'm glad you didn't include the bottom of the flower....just the right amount IMO and the image has a nice flow to it. Great BG too! Very nicely done!

I very much like this one, Karl. The butterfly is nicely positioned and the flower is so soft and pure - it really sets off the butterfly nicely. I like the way you put the stem of the flower in the corner of the frame and placed the butterfly on a tilt. Very nice to look at and very well executed.

Thanks for your comments. I have one problem though: Why isn't the preview image of this showing up on the index page? Have I done something wrong?

Karl, when you link your image from another website it sometimes does this. The BPN staff are working on the problem so hang in there. I doubt its anything on your part.

Julie is correct......right now, when you host on another site....the thumbnails aren't showing.......they are working on trying to rectify that!

I like how the butterfly is nestled in the flower. Lovely details, color, composition and bg. Excellent.
