Brown Bear Sow with Cubs

From my recent brown bear tour in Alaska. Here the mother was nursing her cubs when another bear entered the meadow. The mother stood up to investigate and the one cub was not ready to quit nursing.

Slightly off topic Dale, but will be up there next month and in your estimation (am taking the 500, 70-200, 24-70 (not the 16-35)), however in two minds about the 300 f/2.8 or the f/4 or dusting down the 100-400. just trying to keep weight down, WDYT?

Noise in BG is rain....

You could do well with the 300mm converters, 70-200mm and the 24-70mm or do what I did was and have the 500mm on the tripod, 70-200mm over my shoulder and my short lens (24-105) on my waist belt. Never felt the need for anything else....

Cheers Dale, that was the main set-up, 1.4x on the 70-200 f/2.8. Just worried that there was a shortfall in coverage. :D
